West Star Aviation Announces Consolodation of all surplus avionics and sales at ALN

East Alton, IL, June xx, 2010 – West Star Aviation Inc. announces that it will consolidate all surplus avionics sales and service at its East Alton facility, effective immediately.

During this challenging economic market, West Star Aviation is constantly adapting and utilizing its resources to provide the same quality it has always delivered.  “This consolidation allows us to control expenses during more difficult economic times,” stated Jim Swehla, VP of Sales & Marketing at West Star. “However, we will still maintain the excellent customer service that the division previously located in Hiawatha IA is known for.”

It is extremely important to maintain the cost differential between surplus and new avionics components.  It will be with this consolidation that West Star will be able to continue to offer the same high levels of service, the same competitive range of pricing, and the same degree of excellence that is associated with the West Star name.

To make this consolidation as seamless as possible, all current contact information will remain and be automatically transferred to the ALN location.  This facility can be reached by tel. (618) 259-0765, or fax (618) 259-0815.

West Star’s Surplus Avionics Division is a major supplier of overhauled units for exchange, rental or outright sale.  They buy or consign your surplus avionics and instruments inventories as well as specialize in corporate and regional turbine-powered aircraft avionics and instruments.  To ensure quality, overhauled and serviceable parts are certified by the OEM or by FAA authorized repair facilities, meeting the highest quality standards.

West Star Aviation, Inc. specializes in airframe repair and maintenance, engine repair and maintenance, major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, paint, parts, surplus avionics sales, and accessory services.  With facilities in East Alton, IL; Grand Junction, CO; Columbia, SC; Aspen, CO and Dallas, TX, the company also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its newly remodeled East Alton and Grand Junction facilities.  West Star Aviation, Inc. is an industry leader in technical experience and expertise and provides world-class customer services in all of the organization’s divisions.
