EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2014 is Here!
It’s that time of year again – EAA’s annual AirVenture celebration in Oshkosh, WI. If you have never made the trip to this annual event, you are missing an opportunity to be immersed in everything aviation.
There is a lot to see and do at AirVenture. The D.O.M. team is spending several days this week attending the show. I started off on Monday by visiting the site of the “One Week Wonder.” There, a team of volunteers and AirVenture attendees are building a Zenith CH 750 kit aircraft during the week. It was barely taking shape on Monday as volunteers were drilling and riveting pieces into place. I will be stopping by later in the week to view the progress and share some photos with our readers. This is a fun event that is getting people excited about building a kit aircraft.
I’ve already had the pleasure to talk to quite a few readers at the show. It is amazing how many mechanics from different segments of the industry converge at Oshkosh each year for the show!
If you see us at EAA this week, be sure to stop us and say, “Hi.” We always enjoy talking to you. And be sure to visit DOMmagazine.com for news and product announcements from the show.
Thanks for reading!
