Routes wire throughout aircraft tying into both new and factory installed wire bundles, and may assist in functional check-out and troubleshooting of all wiring systems. Performs less difficult assignments without assistance or supervision.

This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft. Trouble-shooting, repair, and modification of aircraft components is accomplished by this position.

General Accountability: Performs a variety of complex duties related to testing and test documentation of aircraft and industrial engines, and/or related accessories. Includes pre/post repair tests; overhaul tests; setup and monitoring of tests; documenting test results; troubleshooting diagnostics; and maintaining archives of test data.

General Accountability: Processes and inspects parts and components to determine the presence of discontinuities using one or more of the following non-destructive testing methods: liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current. Cross trains in other complementary skills as needed to support production requirements.

General Accountability: Performs visual, dimensional, in-process and final inspection on engines, accessories and related components and parts to determine their condition for return to service and verify correct completion in accordance with approved data and customer requirements.
