AME - Preflight Mechanic
Aerotek is presently looking for pre-flight mechanics to work for their Bombardier Aerospace customer. The positions are available in the different areas of Montreal, Such As Dorval, Ville-Saint-Laurent and Mirabel . Job Description As a preflight mechanic you will be called Expired to: * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings * Install and repair mechanical components * Perform functional tests and adjustments' are aircraft systems * Inspect and maintain mechanical systems (eg hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, air conditioning, doors, landing gear, flight control, etc.) * Prepare for flights (refueling, daily inspection) * Participate in engine tests and APU (auxiliary power unit ) * Make exchange based one newsletter services while meeting industry standards * Perform other related duties Qualifications College gold Certification diploma in aircraft maintenance oR * M2 license + high school diploma oR * QL5 gold TQ5 (Specialized Training of Canadian Forces) * 3 years experience as an aircraft and maintenance mechanic * Good manual dexterity * Proficiency in the French language (oral and written)* Good knowledge of the English language QualificationsYou have a college or professional training: o Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Aircraft Maintenance or o Certificate of Collegial Studies (AEC) in Aircraft Maintenance or o An equivalent degree in aircraft maintenance Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities (MICC) or o An M2 License (AME) and a Secondary School Diploma (DES) o QL5 or TQ5 (Specialized Training of Canadian Forces) * You have experience as an aircraft mechanic (on Bombardier Aerospace products is an asset); * You are fluent in the French language, both orally and in writing, and have a good knowledge of the English language.* You are skilled at reading technical plans and maintenance manuals; * You are flexible vis-#224;-vis shifts; * You have excellent manual dexterity; * You have team spirit and are versatile; (adaptability in a changing environment) * You have a strong sense of autonomy.
