Quality Assurance Inspector in Denton (DFW area), TX Reports to Denton QA Lead Inspector, Chief Inspector and DOM. Unique Skills:Knowledge of Camp Systems maintenance tracking or othermaintenance tracking programs. Knowledge of Pilatus PC-12s, King Airs or other turbo-propaircraft, P&WC PT6A engines. Must be a self-starter & motivated to work in aircraftmaintenance. Must be flexible for all shifts.Education and Experience Requirements:MUST have FAA A&P license. MUST have the FAA Inspection Authorization in 90 days or lessof hire date. High School diploma or GED. At least 1 year quality assurance or aircraft (military orcivilian) inspection experience (preferred). Must be familiar with and able to use MS Office products,Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Have familiarity with Google Drive apps such asSheets and Docs is preferred. MUST have extensive attention to detail. Position Purpose:Acting as a member of a close knit team, perform all tasks requiredto verify the proper documentation of aircraft maintenance and aircraft parts completedon Boutique Air aircraft per FARs and Boutique Air GMM.

Requirements: 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: 1. Perform inspection duties utilizing aircraft, engine, propeller& component maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, technicalspecifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents toensure correct completion per FARs & Boutique Air GMM. 2. Perform AAIP, preliminary, progressive inspections of aircraftstructure and systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspectfor FOD and verify correct completion of paperwork. 3. Witness, verify and document specified maintenance processsteps. 4. Perform RII or conformity inspections to ensure compliance withFAA approved procedures. 5. Perform all or parts of aircraft conformity work to ensureaccurate and complete records on aircraft put on Boutique Air operationsspecification. To include in-depth AD, Service Bulletin and aircraft recordsinvestigations. 6. Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and equipment. 7. Conduct work and verify that others conduct their work/dutiesin a manner that enhances own/other employees health and safety, product safetyand promotes risk reduction; participate openly in safety-related eventinvestigations, and immediately report workplace hazards and make suggestionsfor control; cooperate and contribute toward the overall success of the Safetyprogram at the local level. Additional Functions: 1. Provide technical support to maintenance personnel. 2. Perform floor inspections to ensure compliance with FARs andBoutique Air GMM standards and specifications. 3. Participate in continuous improvement activities. 4. Perform all other duties as assigned. Languages Required: English
