AP Mechanic - Airline

Job Description: Perform line maintenance on Embraer, EMB 170, Emb 190, or regional aircraft at line stations including but not limited to dismantling, overhauling, repairing, assembling of all aircraft parts and componentsPerform routine releases returning aircraft to serviceProperly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company, manufacturer and FAAReason positions are open: Short-staffed due to normal attrition over the last year and very few backfillsWork Environment: These are at SeaTac working on the lineCompass does line maintenance for Delta AirlinesMust be open to working any shift.Typically start on night shift to get good hands-on training on the aircraftOften outside and exposed to the elementsSelling Points: Willing to train on aircraftChance to get into airline aviationWorking on modern aircraft systemsSchedules:Usually will start on nights to learn the aircraft and operation.Nights:3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off, 9pm-730am on 4s, 530pm-730am on 3sAfternoon:4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off, 2pm - 2am (or 3:30am for 3s)Day:4 x 10s then 3 x 13s, 7 on 7 offQualifications: They need to get a SIDA badge, no custom seal needed2+ years A&P experience maintaining aircraftCurrent FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificateMust have own set of basic toolsWilling to work nightsPositive attitude towards productivity, safety and quality maintenanceAvailable to work shifts and overtimeAbility to lift and maneuver up to 70lbs, bend, stoop , crawl and kneel frequently in confined spacesAdditional Compensation: Potential for overtime and training at different sites About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
