AP/IA Mechanic - Cessna 100 200 Series Aircraft

Sky Quest Aviation LLC. is currently seeking an A&P/IA mechanic with primary experience on Cessna piston and turbo prop (Cessna 172 to 208B Grand Caravan) aircraft. Candidate should also possess some single engine Bell helicopter experience.Successful applicants can expect competitive base pay commensurate with experience, annual vacation, holidays, sick leave, Health & Welfare, and 401K. The applicant MUST meet ALL the conditions listed below BEFORE submitting a resume. The resume MUST clearly detail the required information. Applicants who fail to meet ALL the requirements need not apply.

  • Valid FAA AirFrame and Power Plant (A&P) Certificate. (Must have a minimum of 5 years holding their A&P)
  • Valid FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) (Must have a minimum 24 months experience holding their IA certificate)
  • Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 5 years comparable experience with the following types of aircraft:
    • Cessna 100 and 200 series aircraft

    Individuals selected for this effort will be responsible for maintaining aircraft and performing additional related tasks as required to meet FAA, customer, and company requirements. IA#8217;s will perform their duties in accordance with FAA requirements, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) procedures, Inspection Bulletins, and other written procedures as outlined in applicable source documents. The IA must exercise sound judgment and apply their experience when making decisions on acceptance of in-process tasks as well as completed work. IA#8217;s shall also be responsible for timely and accurate completion of required forms, records and reports relative to the maintenance, modifications, service or repair being performed.
