The purpose of this effort is to provide inspection, maintenance and handling support for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to the 575 AMXS, Joint-Base San Antonio-Randolph (JBSA-Randolph) Air Force Base (AFB), in support of theT-38 workload. The mechanic should be skilled labor in support of production operations for depot maintenance IAW the Minimum Team Compliment (MTC) as shown in Table 2.3.

  • Leads a team in the performance of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and scheduled / unscheduled maintenance.
  • Processes the technical experience to supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations on the airframe being supported.
