Aerotek is currently seeking avionics inspectors to work on the equipment of one of its customers in the aeronautical field. Tasks:Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsUsing test benches, power supplies, equipment and inspection equipment, conduct functional tests and inspect the electrical and electronic circuits of highly complex electrical assemblies and components for the purpose of preparing the aircraft to pre-flight acceptance tests.Perform testing and inspection of standby radars, communications and navigation instruments, magnetic detectors at the last stage of aircraft assembly in accordance with the standards of functional testing and quality controlVerify the alignment, installation, and operation of the HF, UHF, and VHF transmitters to ensure they meet the specifications of the Company or customerWrite non-compliance inspection reports and technical fault sheetsMake the link with operators on the floor, engineering and methodsAll other related tasksPrerequisites:DEC or AEC avionics techniquesORDES + License EANDHave at least 5 years of experience as a technician or avionics inspector ANDPass an assessment demonstrating basic technical skillsGood computer skillsProficiency in the French language (oral and written)Good knowledge of the English languageApplicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must provide proof of this authorization if a conditional offer is submitted.
