We have open positions for Avionics Techs, Avionics Install Techs, and Lead Avionics Techs in Lincoln, Nebraska. Garmin, King Air, and Citation experience preferred, but not mandatory. These are full-time, direct hire positions. The ideal Avionics Repair Tech must be familiar with general aircraft instrumentation and communication/navigation systems. Candidates must also be able to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams. Individual must be familiar with basic avionics test equipment such as multimeters, time domain reflectometers, air data test sets.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Ensures quality and efficiency of troubleshooting processes/ concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.Provides insights on how to create better efficiencies in the process for any avionics work.Ensures that work accomplished meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.Checks all work and ensures a defective-free work prior to final inspection.Demonstrates effective repair techniques using acceptable practices including splicing, soldering and pinning of wiring.
