Avionics TechnicianCompany is a leader in the corporate aviation industry and has an immediateopening for an Avionics Technician in our Illinois facility.This is an opportunity to join a team of aviation professionals supporting ourcustomers.Installer position WITH TROUBLE SHOOTING SKILLS a PLUSOur Technician will be involved in the day-to-day activities with assigned teammembers in performing Avionics Installations on corporate aircraft.HeavyDassault Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Lear Jet, Hawker, Cessna, ,experience. The Technician is responsible for the timely completion and qualityof assigned aircraft projects and promoting the growth and development of teammembers.The Technician will work with the team to install, modify, and repairaircraft wiring and avionics equipment using hand tools and test equipmentand/or designs.Fabricates and installs sheet metal or related accessories usingvarious hand tools.Performs system checks, troubleshoots and repairs squawks toensure functionality of system installations.Records, analyzes and interpretstest information.Collaborates with Engineering and other personnel to solveproblems. Performs as Quality Inspector when needed. The Technician will alsohave the opportunity to share technical expertise by responding to internal andexternal customer questions and educating customers.
