#8226; Analyzes performance, isolates malfunctions, and repairs avionics test equipment, support equipment, PMEL equipment, and aircraft components.• Performs operational tests on test equipment, support equipment, and aircraft components to determine condition, analyze performance, and isolate malfunctions on aircraft and engine avionics/electrical systems and subsystems.• Traces logic, schematics, test flow, and wiring diagrams.• Maintains aircraft, support equipment, forms, MIS, and records.• Communicates problems maintaining and inspecting aircraft.

JobReq: 

#8226; High school diploma or equivalent is required. Mathematics skills are desirable. Completion of an intermediate or advanced aircraft avionics systems course is mandatory.• Minimum of five (5) years performing Avionics job functions in a Backshop/AIMD military aviation environment.• Knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory.• Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory.• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.• Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance as required by PWS.• Current valid U.S. Driver#8217;s License.• Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line.• Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude.
