BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY·Responsible for overseeing and performingscheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance; inspections and corrosioncontrol of aircraft components, airframe and powerplant; maintain appropriateaircraft records and logs. ·Reports to the Maintenance Manager and or SiteManager.·Must be customer oriented.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES·Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraftmaintenance.·Review work of subordinates to ensure thefunction/task is correct and complete and take corrective action and/ortraining if necessary.·Addresses employee questions and concernspresented within the work crew. Ifquestions and concerns are not resolved, ensures that employee concerned isgiven the opportunity to seek further assistance through the MaintenanceManager/Supervisor, ·Perform daily/post#8209;flight/thru#8209;flightinspections as required and performs necessary maintenance to correct anymalfunctions.·Conduct off#8209;station maintenance when required.·Effectively communicate with the customer in acourteous, professional manner and research any reported aircraft discrepanciesthrough fault isolation to make repairs.·Service aircraft with fuel, oil, etc. inpreparation for flight.·Maintain aircraft log books, status reports,historical and administrative data as required.·Comply with applicable Government and FAA rulesand regulations on maintenance and follow appropriate aircraft technical data.·May be required to function asSafety/Training/Supply point of contact in the FBO concept at AOS-U or AOS-Asite#8217;s. ·May be required to exercise independent judgmentand travel or relocate to other geographical locations including foreigncountries.·May be required to have a security clearance andpassport in the performance of duties.·Must be a US citizen and completed high schoolor equivalent.·Must read, write, speak, and understand English·Other task as assigned.
