Job DescriptionJob Title: NDI Technician IILocation: Fresno, CAPay: $39.68/hr.Purpose and Scope: Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) Technician II, must have a combination of experience to inspect aerospace weapon systems components and support equipment for structural integrity using nondestructive inspection methods and performs fluid analysis.

The Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Mechanic Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

OPERATIONS TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Utilize Maintenance Instruction Manuals, Maintenance Requirement Cards, Illustrated Parts Breakdown Manuals and related diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiar with associated electromechanical interfaces.
  • Performs operational checks, bench checks, troubleshoots, and isolates malfunctions in complex aircraft avionics equipment.
  • Uses complex test equipment such as continuous wave and pulse generators, time domain reflectometers, multi-trace oscilloscopes, frequency counters, multi-meters and deviation meters, and specialized test equipment to perform operational checks.
