The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints/MBD (model based definition)
  • Standard work instructions and production orders is required to perform assembly of composite structure components or metal structure components using various hand and machine tools such as: drill motors, power feed motors, calipers, countersink tool & other hand tools.
  • Additional tasks for production assembly include: installation of nut plates, nut clips, grommets, seals, electrical bonds, and precision hole drilling to install fasteners to join metal parts, composite parts or a combination of both.
  • Use of precision measuring equipment and tools are required to ensure product conformance to blueprints and production order.
  • Determine method and sequence of work operations.
  • Develop and fabricate shop aids required to complete work assignments.

Requirements: 
  • High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years#8217; related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
