Provides on-site Boeing representation and technical support for aircraft-related systems with emphasis on On-Board Oxygen Generation Systems (OBOGS) and Environmental Control Systems (ECS) on the F/A-18 A-D aircraft at MCAS Miramar, CA. This person will be a part of the USN/USMC Physiological Episode Team. • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Uses multi-disciplined technical expertise and company product support resources to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the depot operation and maintenance of the F/A-18 aircraft. • This includes: the resolution of maintenance issues, the evaluation of maintenance procedures, providing technical guidance on and recommending new or revised troubleshooting procedures for the F/A-18 ECS and OBOGS. • Provides technical support and assists the company in investigating product problems; determining cause, and developing and implementing corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction with Company products and services. • Performs troubleshooting procedures on ECS systems on the F/A-18 aircraft. • Understands customer expectations and acts as the on-site liaison between Boeing and customer personnel. • Works unsupervised for extended periods of time. • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Do you have 3 or more years experience with F/A-18 ECS systems   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Technical expertise is highly desirable in F/A-18 Environmental Control systems and previous military experience or extensive familiarity with military operation and maintenance procedures.
