Ground Equipment Maintenance Technician (Dulles Airport)
OverviewAerotek's Client is looking to add 3 GSE Technicians to their team.The GSE Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a variety of ground support equipment. The client has up to 600 pieces of equipment at Dulles. The equipment includes tugs, tractors, pushbacks, cargo loaders, belts, etc. 90% of the work is preventative maintenance.Duties-Executes basic maintenance assignments involving but not limited to automotive, electrical, systems and other related trade skill sets. -Takes direction and seeks the guidance and expertise of senior level mechanics and accepts training and mentoring from them. -Reads and interprets repair manuals, basic electrical and hydraulic schematics and supervisor/manager's instructions.Qualifications:-Minimum 5 years Automotive maintenance experience. Diesel engine experience preferred.-Automotive preventative maintenance experience is required.-ASE certifications not required, but preferred.
