  • Assist and support the operation of A/C Flightline Mechanic (Line) working in the fast-paced FAL Mobile Flightline operations to ensure aircraft are maintained with the highest degree of safety, quality, on cost, on schedule and are ready for schedule test flight and delivery.
  • Learn new tasks and techniques in trouble shooting aircraft systems and support Flight technicians
  • Assist flight line Technicians in the identification and analysis of aircraft systems,structural, mechanical, electronic, power plant failures and supportcorrective actions post dock & post flight discrepancies.
  • Document tasks in accordance with company procedure and specifications.
  • Perform post dock maintenance daily check list tasks and safety and security pre-flight check list tasks.
  • Perform day to day planned and unplanned aircraft standard maintenance
  • Actively participate in the development and improvement of system trouble-shooting skills.
  • Assist and support a FlightlineTechnician in the repair of aircraft and/or engines and all associated system using safe, cost effective maintenance procedures, such asbut not limited to on wing management programs or Engine, APU, ACM, MED trim adjustment, flight control surface rig, adjustment, cabin seat, lav,and galley functional checks
  • Additionally support Oxygen test, structural repair and servicing aircraft and associated systems.
  • Support aircraft movement.
  • Perform FOD check and walk through.
  • Support aircraft cleaning and preparation for customer delivery and flyaway.
  • Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead person with regard to schedules, priorities, availability of parts, supplies and tools, and special instructionsas required.
  • Perform work from Work Order, SOI, service manuals, and other data sources to obtain dimensions, locations, alignment, tolerances and other specificationrequirements.
  • Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment in completing work assignments, and jigs/Fixtures with associated license, such as but not limited to: crane, cherry-picker, fork lift, lifting platform, loading platform, conveyor
  • Assure that completed work complies with regulations (in both the Production environment and at Repair Stations), customer requirements, and company specifications.
  • Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work, including time keeping process.
  • Perform daily inspections prior using any applicable equipment
  • Report details tasks input/output directly to Management.
Requirements: 
  • Minimum of High school Diploma and specialized aeronautical training
  • A & P license is not required
