Maintenance Controller
Description:Maintenance Controllers ensure all aircraft that are maintained away from home base are done so with an absolute emphasis on Safety and Regulatory Compliance.Maintenance Controllers communicate directly with pilots regarding Aircraft Airworthiness and facilitates maintenance support when needed. The Maintenance Control Center (MCC) monitors in-progress of AOG and preplanned Line Maintenance events on a fleet of over 80 business jets.• Ensures all aircraft that are down for maintenance are repaired Safely, per OEM and Regulatory Instruction, and in a timely manner.• Communicates with Operations and advises of aircraft maintenance status changes.• Works harmoniously with the Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, MCC Duty Managers, Pilots, Maintenance Vendors, and all others associated with each aircraft certification.• Reviews active deferrals (MEL, CDL, NEF) and CFIs on a daily basis and ensure a plan is in place for repair.• Orders required aircraft parts and ensures the are procured and shipped in a timely manner.• Ensures the Maintenance Duty Manager is notified of unusual circumstances.• Is responsible for ensuring proper documentation of the work performed on aircraft prior to approval of the aircraft for return to service.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must have A &P LicenseMaintenance Control Experience Highly PreferredCorporate Aircraft Experience Highly PreferredCessna Citation or other Corporate Jet Experience preferredAbout Aerotek:We know that a companys success starts with its employees.
