The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels and braking systems, by performing the following duties:-Disassemble gear and components. -Responsible for deflating gear and tires.-Removes bushings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts. -Cleans hardware and all parts of the gear-Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast. -Operates hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform landing gear maintenance functions.Must Haves:-Mechanical aptitude-Experience working with power/hand tools-Ability to perform work to diagram About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
