The Boeing global network operates training campuses on six continents, supporting more than 80 full-flight simulators, including advanced technology 787 training suites. Boeing training instructors, highly qualified and knowledgeable, deliver training at Boeing, customer or third party locations around the world.Due to continued growth we are seeking to recruit new team members to join the team. The Boeing Flight Services campus which is located near Gatwick Airport is a 4,900 square meter facility housing full-flight simulators, the exclusive 787 training suite and the B737 Max. The successful candidate will be based in Crawley. The role will have flexible working hours along with being able to operate from home when not required to be in the office.    Conduct various types of maintenance training courses for customers, course types including both model-specific and generic courses. Evaluate student progress using both formal and informal methods. Use engineering data to make sure training material is accurate for all customers. Assists with design and development of new courses and services as necessary to meet customers’ requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES: • Instructing - teach maintenance training classes, using both classroom and hands-on training methods. This includes but is not limited to ensuring proper set up of training materials and presentation equipment and proper evaluation of student progress.• Course enhancements – pressent proposals to make changes to course lesson plans, curricula, and other components of maintenance training courses and products to improve quality and maintain technical accuracy. • May be called upon to assist with coaching training less experienced team members. • Participate with job assignments related to training material development.• Perform duties as an AMTO Knowledge Examiner (KE) and/or Practical Assessor (PA).COMPETENCIES SKILLS: • Professional/Technical Expertise - Has thorough knowledge of the job; demonstrates technical and functional skills; keeps informed of latest industry developments. Be able to conduct level III training for a specific subject area on multiple aircraft models or multiple subjects on one aircraft model.• Organization and Accomplishment of Work - Plans, prioritizes, completes work efficently and cost effectively; manages multiple tasks simultaneously while achieving expected amount and quality of work.• Communication -  Manages effective flow of communication; uses appropriate style, grammar and tone in both written and verbal communication. Contributes to meetings and group settings.   • Customer focus - Demonstrates a sense of urgency when working with both internal and external customers; available and responsive to customers’ needs and continuously seeks opportunities to satisfy customers’ expectations.EXPERIENCE EDUCATION:• Demonstrable, solid experience in commercial or military aircraft maintenance, maintenance instruction, or supervision. • Prefer an FAA AP License (or similar credential for non-US locations). • Familiar with computer applications, including presentation software, desktop publishing and database management.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced office environment.
