The Boeing global network operates training campuses on six continents, supporting more than 80 full-flight simulators, including advanced technology 787 training suites. Boeing training instructors, highly qualified and knowledgeable, deliver training at Boeing, customer or third party locations around the world.Due to the expansion of our Sim Ops Team in Crawley we are recruiting Simulator Technicians at the Boeing Flight Services campus located near Gatwick Airport. This 4,900 square meter facility houses full-flight simulators the exclusive 787 training suite and the B737 Max.Simulator Technician Maintain Training Devices to regulatory and company standards, ensuring that Devices are ready for training and Training Centre Customers are provided with professional technical support.• Performs pre-flight tasks;• Performs preventative maintenance functions;• Conducts troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on training devices;• Performs training device updates (Software and Hardware);• Ensures documentation procedures are completed;• Provides total customer support service, that can include accompanying customers through instructor station training and during dry training operationsAdvanced training in the skills, disciplines or processes used. Typically, this would result from an apprenticeship in conjunction with further academic studies to Higher National Diploma/Certificate (HND/HNC), Associates Degree, or other equivalent academic degrees.Ideally, proven relevant and current experience is required with either military or commercial SimulatorsThis requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
