BaseLine on behalf of our client require an experienced tubing fabricator to join their team on a contract basis. Travel pay, housing allowance and bonus payments available. With an Airframe license this person would as well possibly hold some supervisory and inspection functions within this department. This position is for non-programmable manual hydraulic benders, flaring machines, beading tools and hand benders. Test tanks are both dry test and submersion tanks.

JobReq: 

Qualifications:Previous experience manufacturing and bending aircraft tubing; 7075, 2024, 6061 and Cres Steel.Previous experience flaring(single and double flares), beading, Wiggins type and other relative termination connections.Previous experience with high and low pressure test of tubes using fluids and air/gases.Prefer an Airframe license but will consider experience and talent in lieu of a license.Team attitude.Organization.Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks and work successfully to a schedule.Layout and duplication of tubing assemblies.Tagging and cataloging tube assemblies.Work within Repair Station guidelines and procedures.Traceability of parts and materials.Manage stock, tooling and supplies for the tubing department.Work under project and management oversight
