Provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in maintenance control of aircraft, and assists the Senior Maintenance Manager with daily operations. The maintenance controller assists in the operations of the maintenance departments per the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2B CH-1. Defines and assigns responsibilities by shift, functions, and operations per directives.
Aircraft Mechanics/ Technicians inspect, diagnose, repair, and monitor aircraft and aircraft systems such as structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, engines, power, and electrical/ electronic systems and components as assigned to work centers.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON AWARD AND FUNDINGThe Mobile Sensors program performs Operations and Maintenance (OM) on a ship based mobile radar/communication systems that are complex, multi-mission systems with elaborate command, control, computer, and communications interfaces and support sub-systems.
