Ground Support Equipment Technician
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY
The Traveling Aircraft Mechanic II (Electrician UH-60, AH-64, CH47) performs avionics and electrical maintenance tasks, modifications and repairs as directed.
The C-12/ King Air Transport Aircraft Mechanic AM-1 (FAA AP) Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft.
Classification Description Repairs, maintains, and inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment under the technical direction of an Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic (Senior) or Lead. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required.
