West Star Aviation Expands Embraer Service Capabilities with Ram Air Turbine (RAT) Test Tooling

West Star Aviation announces it has acquired the ram air turbine (RAT) tooling required for the 24-month check on the Legacy 450/500 airframe. As of November 2017, West Star has completed two 24-month inspections on Legacy 500 aircraft and project increased numbers as its service center capabilities grow.

In addition to the 24-month inspections on Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 aircraft, West Star Aviation is able to perform full-scale landing gear maintenance on Embraer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 models and offers complete maintenance at its East Alton and Chattanooga facilities.
