West Star Aviation Names James Woodliff as South Central Regional Sales Manager

West Star Aviation announces James (Jim) Woodliff as its South Central regional sales manager. As RSM, Jim will be responsible for sales activities in Texas and Oklahoma while also building and maintaining customer relationships. 

Woodliff started out as a jet engine mechanic in 1984 for the USAF where he oversaw the engine test cell operations on F100 , F16 and F15 aircraft. His previous experience within corporate aviation extends from working as a crew chief at Standard Aero to most recently as an aircraft maintenance supervisor at Richardson Aviation from 2014-August 2017. In his position at Richardson Aviation he oversaw a crew of eight technicians and their day-to-day operations of the corporate flight department. Woodliff participated in and completed factory-sponsored training, including run and taxi on Gulfstream, Falcon and Raytheon aircraft; factory systems training from Honeywell, Rockwell Collins and Pratt & Whitney; and airport ground ops and towing.
