West Star Aviation Names Josh Peterson Avionics Technical Sales Manager
West Star Aviation announces that Josh Peterson has been named Avionics Technical Sales manager, effective Dec. 12, 2017.
Peterson's career in aviation began in 1992 when he joined the U.S. Navy. Stationed in San Diego, he worked as a sheet metal mechanic on carrier-based cargo aircraft until 1996, when he left the Navy to pursue a career working on firefighting aircraft. Peterson joined the West Star Aviation team in 2002 as a sheet metal repair technician and performed structural repairs. He advanced quickly within the organization to avionics installs, and in 2012, Peterson worked in contracts where he would quote maintenance, interior, paint and avionics.
