Description:What You Will Be DoingWe are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft Electrician to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-22 aircraft. Come join Lockheed Martin in The Last Frontier! The vast wilderness of Alaska offers a virtually unlimited playground for the outdoor enthusiast, while nearby Anchorage provides the same amenities you would find in any large city. This position is located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska supporting the F-22 modification line. Domestic travel may be required. This pivotal role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Some of the job requirements responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Services, repairs, and overhauls F-22 aircraft electrical avionics systems to ensure airworthiness. Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical/avionics system and components. - Incorporate engineering changes. - Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components. Adjusts, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories. - Performs operational checks, pre post modification/upgrade/overhaul testing, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and avionics systems on aircraft as required.- Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of electrical/avionics circuits and components. - Uses complex test instruments and computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.- Selected candidate will have experience with understanding technical requirements on fighter type aircraft. -Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes. Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required to keep aircraft modifications on schedule.- Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.- Must be a US Citizen.
