Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?Job Summary: An aircraft mechanic maintains the engines of aircrafts to meet FAA standards. This job involves tasks such as performing routine checks and repairs, keeping records of inventory, and identifying faults with components of the plane.This is a 2nd Shift position: Monday – Thursday 3:30 pm – 2 amWhat You Will Do:

  • Perform work as defined by Repair Station Procedures (RSP) Catalog and Engine Manual (EM) to degrease, scrub, rinse, and clean parts. Refer to and Standard Practices Manual (SPM) as needed for technical standards not covered in the EM.
  • Manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.
  • Ensure bath parameters are maintained
  • Check daily temperature gauges and chemical levels
  • Understand and demonstrate Employee Health Safety compliance in all you do

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years’ mechanic experience in aviation or diesel
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Airframe Powerplant (AP) License
  • 2+ years’ aviation experience
  • Turbine engine overhaul and repair experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving configuration and compatibility issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience
  • Familiar with SAP
