About the roleWe are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic within Workshops having Aircraft and Components Painters experience to be based in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible to perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, Qatar Airways standards and procedures; meeting the highest shop practices and safety to provide operational results as set by the unit. You will also be responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set timeframes by performing effectively within an environment of time constrains and a high level of technical competency. Specific responsibilities for the role include:bull; Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.bull; Operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks.bull; Interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation.bull; Accountable to comply with the company health and safety policy.bull; Painter shall be responsible to carry out the aircraft and component paintings as per the manufacturer recommendations. bull; Painter shall be responsible to ensure safety compliance while carrying out the painting job.bull; Painter shall be able to demonstrate sound understanding of aircraft composite and sheet metal, painting principlesbull; Painter shall be responsible to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance (QCAA/EASA Part 145) while performing painting. Together, everything is possible.QualificationsAbout you The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:bull; Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience in Aircraft and Components Painting.bull; Knowledge of workshop fundamentals and related skills to his area of employment.bull; Ability to demonstrate good understanding of aircraft sheet metal/composite paint system.bull; Ability to demonstrate good understanding of component painting and specialized coating processes.bull; Ability to perform most tasks and duties independently typical to area of specialty.bull; Ability to use of Maintenance data structure.bull; Controlling operation of equipment or systems.bull; Understanding written instructions in work related documents.bull; Excellent communication skill (speak/read/write) in English.About Qatar Airways Group Our story started with four aircraft.
