Structures MechanicJob Description

  • Perform modifications and repairs on customer-owned corporate aircraft. Duties include repair and/or replacement of aircraft structural components, repair of areas damaged by corrosion, and performing service bulletins and repairs as required.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and/or replace aircraft structural components.
  • Repair areas damaged by corrosion.
  • Perform service bulletins and repairs as required.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • Remove and install aircraft components as required.
  • Fabricate and/or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
  • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures.
  • Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.

Essential Skills

  • Sheet Metal Repair
  • Aircraft Structural Assembly
  • Sheet Metal Fabrication
  • 2 years of aircraft structures repair experience

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • Corporate aircraft experience is preferred.
  • Commercial aircraft and military experience are acceptable.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
