Summary:
Perform moderate to advanced inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Conduct complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Ensure work meets all quality standards and FAA documentation requirements.
Complete CMP cards, work orders, and other required paperwork accurately and promptly.
Coordinate with inspection and technical leads to meet regulatory requirements.
Securely store and tag customer property and aircraft components.
Properly use and maintain company tools and return them to designated areas after use.
Safely operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs).
Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.
Provide training and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
Assist with shift turnovers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience (including 2 years on mid/large-sized aircraft).
Valid Drivers License.
Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
Familiarity with FAA regulations, process specifications, and Repair Station/Quality Control manuals.
