Aircraft Worker Trainee - Training Development (Full Time)Department: All Openings, Manufacturing - Entry LevelAssists the Supervisor in the production of high-quality aircraft parts subassemblies following Piper Drawings, Process Specifications (PPS) and other manufacturing instructions. Assists in meeting or exceeding planned production and delivery schedules while maximizing company resources to achieve company goals.Completes hands-on training and coursework for manufacturing production tasks as assigned and instructed by production training supervision, trainers, and instructors. Follows instructions and directions demonstrating successful progression through training modules in accordance with the prescribed schedule duration, encompassing the Essential Job Functions as follows: Drill out, dimple, countersink, rivet and torque aircraft parts and subassemblies, including those requiring use of small, portable assembly tools. Assemble aircraft subassembly parts and accessories using common fasteners such as rivets, nuts, bolts, washers and other hardware. Successfully identify and demonstrate the proper use of a variety of assembly related hand tools to include electric, manual and pneumatic operated equipment. Identify various types of assembly fasteners, hardware and rivets utilizing blueprints, specifications and a bill of material. Demonstrate ability to accurately access, read and utilize Shop Floor Information, blueprints, specifications, work orders and SMPs. Successfully demonstrate ability to access, navigate and complete required PACT LMS training modules. Maintain the departments compliance with Piper QAM/QIM and FAA requirements. Inspect and conduct approved rework of discrepancies as necessary. Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate. Partner with departmental trainers to receive practical knowledge for proper training to perform necessary job functions and requirements in order to attain satisfactory levels of performance and production effectivity. Adhere to and maintain all departmental compliance requirements such as Safety, Environmental Protection, FOD and Tool Control, 5S and other assigned programs. Perform duties as assigned by supervision.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Adhere to Piper Drawings, Process Specifications (PPS) and other manufacturing instructions.Physical DemandsDemonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks. Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate job specific equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Other physical requirements include the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, twist, balance and reach above, out, and below.
