 We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Avionics Technician to support our avionics installation team in Breslau, Ontario. This role requires strong technical aptitude, adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team-orientated environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with the regulatory requirements and the requirements of the Company manuals.
  • Accurate completion of all paperwork in accordance with required procedures, manuals, and other documentation.
  • Employ the proper tools, equipment, methods, and techniques required to perform safe aircraft maintenance.
  • Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams. 
  • Accomplish all work tasks and other duties as assigned by the production/ Program Manager.
  • Report any unsafe or non-compliant work conditions or practices to the Production/ Program Manager.  

Qualifications

  • Current or in-progress AME “E” Transport Canada license or related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in avionics or related fields.  
  • Experience in electrical systems, navigation, and flight controls is considered an asset.  
  • Ability to life to 25kg and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, kneeling, and crawling. 
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at various heights. 
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed. 
  • Must be available to travel for occasional AOG recovery operations (or short periods of time for offsite installations).
  • Experience with all De Havilland Aircraft of Canada products consider an asset.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Internet.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
