We are seeking a highly qualified CH-47 Avionics Technician to join our clientrsquo;s aviation maintenance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring extensive military aviation experience, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, multicultural environment. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the avionics systems of the CH-47 Chinook.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CH-47 avionics systems including flight control, navigation, communications, and mission systems.
  • Interpret and apply technical data, schematics, and wiring diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Execute system checks and post-maintenance inspections to verify airworthiness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in aircraft modifications and system upgrades as required.
  • Collaborate with flight and maintenance crews to support mission readiness.
  • Comply with all aviation safety, regulatory, and quality control standards.

Requirements: 
  • 6 years of Recent (last 2 years) experience on the CH-47 aircraft
  • Licensed and Type Rated on the CH-47

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAA A P (Airframe Powerplant) License and/or Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license
  • Thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on aircraft
  • Willingness to travel in support of the companyrsquo;s operational requirements
