Task Description: Electronics Technician Maintenance III (23183)The Electronics Technician Maintenance III applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturersrsquo; manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering; changes. Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to lower level technicians. Additional Qualifications: Device/ Equipment Maintainer resolves a variety of difficult operating problems (e.g. making unusual equipment connections and rarely used equipment and channel configurations to direct processing through or around problems in equipment, circuits, or channels or reviewing test run requirements and developing unusual system configurations that will allow test programs to process without interfering with ongoing job requirements). In response to computer output instructions and error conditions or to avoid loss of information or to conserve computer time, operator deviates from standard procedures. Such actions may materially alter the computer units production plans. This operator may spend considerable time away from the control station providing technical assistance to lower level operators and assisting programmers, systems analysts, and subject matter specialists with resolution of problems. This position maintains specialized electronic computer based equipment and devices used for the purposes of data entry and retrieval including task-specific tablets, laptops, engine data downloaders, display devices and terminals used for engine work package documentation as well as technical data directives and job guide support essential to current generation jet engine maintenance and production. - Support users of Windows operating systems and Microsoft office products
- Troubleshooting systems and developing solutions
- Perform Local computer program software updates
- Perform Help desk duties for email support and all Computer/Printer related problems
- Other tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 or more yearsrsquo; experience
Basic Qualifications:
- Three yearsrsquo; experience performing task requirements
- Must meet security requirements for installation, facility and network access
- Must have at own expense Security + Certification prior to hire.
- Must qualify for and shall possess a Common Access Card (CAC)
Compensation$36.69/hour Other CompensationEmployees receive a health and welfare benefit of $3.65 per hour paid up to 40 hours per week. Employees are able to enroll in KAIrsquo;s 401k plan and the Company will contribute $.35 per hour paid up to 40 hours a week to the employeersquo;s account.
