  • Performs routine aircraft maintenance functions.
  • Must demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines, and component parts.
  • Operates aircraft towing equipment in towing operations.
  • Maintains aircraft hydraulic systems.
  • Must have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
  • Performs aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, and modification of aircraft electrical/avionics systems
  • Must have 6 yearsrsquo; experience on CH/MH-53E or equivalent rotary wing aircraft
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment
  • Must demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft fuel systems, flight controls, engines, transmissions, and rotor systems.
  • Must demonstrate operational knowledge of CH53 ground handling procedures.
  • Operates aircraft towing equipment in towing operations.
  • Maintains aircraft fuel, oil, and pneumatic systems.

Responsible for the satisfactory completion of all job assignments. Shall maintain discipline by counsel and reprimand when necessary. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge and experience to solve complex problems. Ensure safe, quality Depot maintenance to support the T-45 Program.Requires a high degree of expertise in Depot aviation maintenance.
