Find your future with us. The Aircraft Component Maintenance Technician will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Repair Shop. The Aircraft Component Maintenance Technician will execute the repair and overhaul of aircraft batteries and serve as PRM (Person Responsible for Maintenance) at our Mississauga, Ontario location. Position Responsibilities:

  • Repair and overhaul aircraft batteries in accordance with manufactures recommended instructions and shop policies and procedures
  • Maintain currency of licenses and authorizations/approvals
  • Maintain component records
  • Ensure part control and traceability
  • Perform function of PRM role in support of AMO(Approved Maintenance Organization) authorization
  • Train and support new hires as required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 6 years' experience in performing or in direct supervision of aircraft Maintenance activities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prior PRM experience

Typical Education:

  • Must have Canadian High School diploma or recognized equivalency
  • Must have one of the following: FAA Airframe/Powerplant (A P) mechanics license, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or Military equivalent

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
