Requirements: 

Duties Requirements: Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, must possess a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.Perform various aircraft maintenance duties necessary to ensure the safety and operation of Corporate Aircraft under Part 135 Operations. This will be accomplished by performing the following:Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify root cause and appropriate corrective action to diagnose or avert equipment problemPerform inspections and repair of company managed aircraftEnsure work is executed according to plan and scheduleEnsure compliance and safety through effective understanding of safety requirements and acceptable documentation proceduresMaintain inventory controlsAssist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractorsResponsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as neededMaintain professional and courteous manner with all employees, co-workers, vendors, clients, customers and membersRepair and maintain machinery and equipment as necessary Knowledge, Skills Abilities: Ability to effectively communicate through verbal, written and electronic meansStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to use variety of hand and power toolsStrong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with all levels of the CompanyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work under minimal supervisionAbility to exercise independent judgment, discretion and initiativeSelf-motivated and independent problem-solving abilityAbility to travel to out-of-state sites as neededAbility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and on call Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferredThree to five years of experience with Corporate aircrafts preferredAirframe and Powerplant certificate requiredExperience with troubleshooting equipment and operation issuesKnowledge of AvtrakSome experience with Part 135 Operations Physical Requirements:Communicate through verbal, written and electronic meansMove up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basisWork indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and climatesMedium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching
