Job SummaryThe Aircraft MechanicI (Sheetmetal/Structural Specialty) troubleshoots malfunctionsin aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing,pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. Principal AccountabilitiesRepairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. Requirements: 

Knowledge Skills Experience Education Shall have a valid up-to-date A P license. If no A P license, shall have three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing aircraft experience. All experience must be within the six most recent years. Experience EducationCompletion of U.S. military tactical aircraft maintenance or U.S. military technical school is desired. Minimum of four years experience in maintenance, modification and repair of tactical aircraft systems of the types being serviced and their associated components is required. Valid drivers license required.High School Graduate or GED
