Aircraft Mechanic Sheet Metal
PRIMARY FUNCTIONThe Aircraft Mechanic will perform, repair, and install structural components on C130J model aircrafts.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe qualified applicant must have knowledge of the structural techniques and applications to apply towards performing modifications.Experience in aircraft structural repair, modification, by interpreting technical data such as blue prints or manufacturers drawings/manuals.The Mechanic will plan, lays out, and installs, both internal and external to aircraft structures.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Aircraft Electrician will assist in aircraft launch and recovery, servicing, rigging, jacking, towing; Mechanic must be a qualified aviation sheet metal mechanic with experience in hardware installation such as rivet/blind rivet installation, HI-Loc installation, etc.The candidate must have a basic common knowledge of tooling required for performance of aircraft structural work.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members.Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.Ability to follow a process.Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management.Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.Ability to multi-task.JOB REQUIREMENTSMust have an Active Government Security Clearance.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum Two (2) years of sheet metal experience performing aircraft modifications.Interpretation of mechanical drawings. C-130 experience preferredExperience with close tolerance fasteners Modification/integration/repair sheet metal experience on aircraftFAA A P or FAA Airframe certification preferredYulista offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
