Functions as the 1st Battalion UH-60M Mechanic Lead under the direction of Battalion Production Control Supervisor. Responsible for prioritizing, tracking, and scheduling UH60M maintenance requirements. Reports any problems that affect completion timeline to Production Control (PC).
Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Quality Control/Quality Assurance, technical inspector under the direction of the Quality Control (QC) Supervisor. Technical Inspector /Inspector Authorization duties include sign-off of all red ‘X’ and circle red ‘X’ conditions pertaining to the aircraft systems, and aircraft components.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, systems troubleshooting, removal, reinstallation, and replacement of sub-assemblies IAW current applicable maintenance manuals. Removal and installation of aircraft system and subsystem components including but not limited to engines, transmissions, drive train components, flight control components, rotor system components and landing gear.
