The A P Mechanic role provides maintenance of all aircraft and equipment at our FMF base in Sarasota, Fl.Duties:

  • Communicate with the customer and FMF pilots about aircraft issues
  • Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft assuring aircraft is available for customer flight missions on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain parts inventory
  • Inspect aircraft and systems
  • Read and understand maintenance manuals and understand requirements
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems
  • Maintain interior/exterior appearance of the aircraft to meet Dynamic standards
  • Communicate critical information to company headquarters
  • Communicate quality needs with the DOQ and MOM to ensure quality of maintenance is kept at an acceptable level.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities under the jurisdiction of maintenance are kept organized and in a clean and serviceable condition.Ensure deficiencies are communicated to the MOM for timely correction
  • Complete required paperwork to comply with Federal Regulations and Company procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High school education or GED required
  • FAA A P Certificate required
  • Prior experience with turboprop aircraft, specifically King Air U-21/E-90/King Air 200
  • Technical aptitude
  • Must provide own tools (tools listing to be provided)
  • Willing and able to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
  • Good teamwork, strong initiative, communication, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Computer skills including email and submission of detailed maintenance and flight information
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Highly resourceful
  • Ability to:

Crawl in and out of tight spaces Comfortably work at elevated heights of at least 20 feet for extended periods of time Lift, balance and carry 50 lbs. Work in exterior weather conditions Work in close proximity to other peopleJob Experience:Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience. King Air and/or turbine engine maintenance experience required
