This position is for Lanier Aircraft Maintenance Gainesville, GA location! Our client, Lanier Aircraft Maintenance is looking for A&P licensed mechanic with experience in reciprocating engines. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years#8217; experience working on small aircraft. Cessna 172 and 182 are their primary workload. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Identifies, removes and installs inspection access panels.• Removes and replaces aircraft components.• Must be able to produce quality work with minimal rework.• Must be able to perform basic tasks with no supervision.• Must be able to perform intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks with little supervision.• Accomplishes routine servicing of engines and aircraft accessories with high levels of quality and a timely basis.• Reads, understands and implements directions of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locate associated components on the aircraft.• Services and repairs aircraft and engines to ensure airworthiness, according to customer specifications, and FAA standard. • Removes and installs engines from aircraft using mechanical assistance safely.

Requirements: 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION• High school education or G.E.D. Preferred.• 3-5 years#8217; experience working on small aircraft. • A&P license.• Experience working on reciprocating engines.• IA (inspection authorization).
