JOB SUMMARY:This hourly, non-exempt position requires a basic knowledge of aircraft avionics and instrument systems. This includes varying amounts of parts replacement or repair, electrical troubleshooting, inspection of aircraft or systems and general avionics bench applications. Supervision of aircraft and bench work and direction of project flow will be a primary function.
Avionics Technicians are responsible for aircraft avionics and electronic systems. The job includes parts replacement, repair, electrical troubleshooting and mechanical applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position requires a basic knowledge of electronics and the ability to troubleshoot and repair problems, with direction, to the unit level on avionics systems (i.e. Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio and Autopilot Systems), as well as the aircraft systems.

Our 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am. The shift incentive includes a 10 -15 premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.

This is a variable hour traveling position servicing and repairing corporate jets (fractional customers). The work schedule varies from week to week including the number of days, hours and work location.
