1 #8211; Performs inspections, maintenance and repairs of aircraft.2 #8211; Assist the site maintenance manager in coordinating Phoenix maintenance activities with Site Flight Training Department and UND Aerospace Maintenance Department at Grand Forks, North Dakota.3 #8211; Assists the site maintenance manager in supervision of aircraft and avionics maintenance activities at the Phoenix satellite site.4 -Assist the site maintenance manager in the training for all maintenance staffto ensure high level of productivity, safety and efficiency.5 -Ensures compliance with FAA regulations and all UND Aerospace standard operating procedures.6 -Coordinate with UND Aerospace maintenance, safety, and flight operations personnel to identify hazards and reduce risk to the lowest practical level and to promote a culture of safety.7 -Assists the maintenance manager in maintaining and securing parts inventory in Phoenix in accordance with Inventory Control Procedures at UND Aerospace.8 -Reviews work orders, aircraft records and related documents for completeness and accuracy.9 - Other duties as assigned. This position Requires:-Airframe and Powerplant certificate with Inspection Authorization.-Minimum of 3 years' technical experience and meet the currencyrequirements of FAR Part 65.83.-Able to perform the duties of FAR 145 Repair Station Inspector.-Thorough working knowledge of all federal regulations pertaining toaircraft maintenance.-Ability to maintain good working relationship with customers, co-workersand FAA agencies.-Good written and verbal communication skills.-Drug and alcohol testing as required by UND Aerospace Anti-Drug Program-Valid driver's license.-Ability to move and lift bulky or heavy objects up to 75 lbs.This position Prefers:-Prefer at least 1 year supervisory experience.-Prefer Cessna single and Piper multiengine experience.-Prefer previous formal course work in maintenance management, or relatedarea.
