Job Overview:

This position requires a basic knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair problems to the component level on avionics units (i.e. Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio and Autopilot Systems), as well as the aircraft systems.

Responsibilities:

The Aircraft Crew Chief reports to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope and for the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations performed under the authority of the FAA Certificated Repair Station.

Operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting of all avionics and electrical systems on the aircraft.

Perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft systems and components to determine the conformity of the aircraft to approved data and airworthiness. Perform installation inspections of components, structures, wiring and other aircraft associated items for conformity to engineering and other approved data.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting of all avionics and electrical systems on the aircraft.

Repair and preventive maintenance of equipment for all production and non-production related activities including physical upkeep of facilities and grounds.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting of all avionics and electrical systems on the aircraft.
  • Complete assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budgets and on schedule while maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations and requirements.

Looking for an A P/IA with approximately 10 yearsrsquo; experience in general aviation (Cirrus/Cessna/Beechcraft, etc.) with some turboprop/Pratt Whitney experience. If you have been employed by multiple businesses in the last several years, do not bother applying.
