Description:****** An Interim Secret Clearance is required ****** This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Patuxent River. As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft to include F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.

Requirements: 

Basic Qualifications:3-5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or USMC MOS Avionics Systems Craftsman discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license. Experience with all facets of wire/connector repair, to include evaluation and testing.Experience with reading/interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions and Aircraft Forms Documentation.Experience with Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.Desired Skills:F-35/F-22 experience highly desirable. Previous flight test aircraft maintenance experienceAircraft Instrumentation electrical systems desired.Coax troubleshooting/repairAdvanced test equipment proficiency Data-bus knowledge and troubleshootingFiber Optic ExperienceJEDI ExperienceExcellent communication skills
