Seeking Mechanics that are new to the aviation world that are licensed A P. This is a good opportunity to get experience on commercial aircraft and getting your foot in the door at other maintenance facilities or airlines.

Summary/Objective:
To perform all phases of repair, maintenance or modification on aircraft or component parts to include dismantling, repairing, assembling and erection of machinery and mechanical devices and the exchange and replacement of electrical equipment or electrical components.

Summary:

  • Establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, according to established procedures.
  • Conveys materials within plant, or work area.
  • Performs wire cut, label printing, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods of time.

SHIFT:4/10-1st Shift

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.
WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 2nd Shift
  • Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
  • Uses various measuring devices.
  • Apply principles of basic electronics circuitry.
  • Must be knowledgeable , capable of troubleshooting electronic circuits to component level.
  • Lay out, build, test, repair, and modify military grade cable assemblies.
  • Able to fluently read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Observe all Occupational, Safety and Health guidance.
  • Set up and operate automatic inert gas arc welding machines to do such welding as longitudinal and circumferential welding of assemblies.
  • Layout locations and make own setups as required.
  • Weld Company products by certified processes maintaining critical alignment tolerances and improvising tooling and holding fixtures as required.
  • Bonds a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment or structures into semi-finished or finished products.
  • Lays out articles, cuts parts or materials to size.
  • Applies liquid or solid bonding agents.
  • Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycle.
